Here’s the second episode of what is still currently being called “Random” – a show hosted by Kevin Rose and Tim Ferriss (I’m just shooting, editing and randomly nodding in agreement). New show names are being tossed around but for now, this is it.
Topics in this Episode:
1) Stuff that they are finding interesting – from internet apps to electronic gadgets, they riffle through a few items on their current radar.
2) Tim and Kevin discuss Tim’s recent delve into the world of functional MRI’s – fMRI’s.

I love the premise behind this show. Why hasn’t someone done this before? Just a very relaxed atmosphere, chatting about whatever comes to mind, just like any real geek conversation. Amazing.
why not name it “Reaction” since they are reacting to stuff in their daily lives

Good show, very interesting. When will this move to Rev 3. As a Kiwi I enjoyed the reference to one of the highlights in NZ television history, O for Awesome.

Nice, I’m really liking this. I’d actually like it if it were a bit longer, but still, wonderful to watch these two minds bouncing ideas off each other.
Also, in terms of music programs, may I suggest spotify? Great library, and some nice basic genre radios, all free, all streaming, real quick-like. I’d have to say kevin, sometimes it is nice to have broad genre playlists, just to discover new stuff, maybe find some new style that you like. Do it the garyvee way, never limit your options (though he does have pretty lousy music tastes… hrrrrmmmmm…)
oh, and ps, dude above me, those are tim’s shoes, vibram fivefingers

This is a great show, it has a never ending supply of content and these two guys have differing styles that compliment each other well. Make this a weekly thing!
I haven’t had any issues with not de-interlacing HD progressive scan video before. I’ve learned my lesson with SD footage – and i guess that now also applies to HD 720p footage as well. Maybe you can be part of the QC team, especially since there isn’t any and my plate is rather full
While the title “Random” wouldnt usually get my attention, knowing these two guys backgrounds made me hungry to watch. The three of you, Glenn included, did a fabulous job of covering what seemed like a “bullet list” of topics.
